Case Details
This 50 year-old woman was found to have cancer in her left breast. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 229 pounds. She wanted to keep her breasts rather than undergo mastectomies. Using a breast conservation therapy approach, a Fort Worth breast oncology surgeon performed a left partial mastectomy/lumpectomy. Dr. Kunkel rearranged the remaining left breast tissue using oncoplastic surgery techniques. He also performed a right breast reduction. The ‘after’ photographs were taken 12 months after her surgery and 9 months after she completed radiation of her left breast. *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
