Case Details

This 50 year-old mother of 2 travelled from the San Antonio – Kerrville – Fredericksburg area of Texas to visit with Dr. Kunkel in his Fort Worth plastic surgery office to learn about options for improving the appearance of her abdomen.  She is a teacher who also coaches volleyball and tennis.  She felt like her abdomen did not reflect the active lifestyle she leads.  She decided to undergo a tummy tuck and liposuction of her flanks.  The surgery took place in a Fort Worth hospital and she spent one night in the facility.  During her abdominoplasty, Dr. Kunkel removed 12 inches of skin and tissue from between her belly button and pubic area.  Dr. Kunkel also removed a total of 2,000 ml of fatty tissue and fluid during the liposuction (think of a 2 liter Coke bottle).  Her result is shown 6 months later.  She loves her new look!  Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
