This 55 year-old teacher had undergone CoolSculpting to improve the contours of her abdomen but did not notice any changes with that.  She wanted to have a tighter, flatter appearance.  She visited with Dr. Kunkel in his plastic surgery office near the Fort Worth Medical District to learn about options.  After weighing the pros and cons of liposuction alone versus a tummy tuck alone, she decided to combine them.  Dr. Kunkel performed a tummy tuck and liposuction of her flanks in a Fort Worth hospital.  He removed 6 inches of skin from between her belly button and pubic area, and the liposuction removed 1,450 ml of fatty tissue.  Her result is shown three months later.  The pink scar in the lower abdomen is from the incision that was made around her belly button.  The scar will fade over the next few months.  This teacher is thrilled and gives her result an A+!  *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
