This 54 year-old woman wanted to have a more shapely contour of her abdomen. She visited with Dr. Kunkel at his plastic surgery office near the Fort Worth Medical District to learn about her options. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 166 pounds. After discussing her physical findings and desires, they came up with a plan to do a tummy tuck and liposuction. Her surgery took place at a Fort Worth hospital and she spent one night. Dr. Kunkel removed 10 inches of skin from below her belly button. Liposuction resulted in removal of 3,800 ml (almost two 2 liter Coke bottles!) of fatty tissue and fluid. Her result is shown 3 months after the tummy tuck.
